Paint gun cleaner and spray gun cleaner can describe several product categories. The featured set is documented as physical brushes, fine-wire tools and cleaning needles. Cleaning liquid, a powered washer and a collection system are not listed among its contents.
Read two sets of instructions
Use the coating directions to identify an appropriate cleaning product, then verify that product against the equipment manual. Check the cleaner label and safety information for handling, ventilation, protective equipment and disposal. Do not infer compatibility from a product’s familiar smell or a generic “solvent” claim.

Graco’s airless cleaning article separates pressure relief, flushing, hose and gun cleaning, and care of tips and filters. That is guidance for the Graco system described. It does not establish an immersion method or chemical exposure time for another gun or for every tool in this kit.
Keep a short decision record
- Equipment model and the matching manual.
- Coating and approved cleaner.
- Accessible part and permitted contact tool.
- Required drying, inspection and waste handling.
If a necessary answer is missing, pause that task instead of mixing cleaners or increasing force. A stubborn deposit can require equipment-specific advice. Return to the session plan when your supplies and procedure are clear.
